Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day

Hello. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your sentimental doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

We just have a special picture to show you today. You may have seen it before on earlier posts, but it's one of the very few which includes all three of our angels: Charisma, Joey dog, Miss Ginger.

Our Patron Saint Old Charisma came to our family when the four siblings were still school age. She was always there to make good times better, and help everyone through their tough times too. Ghostwriter says she could call for any of the siblings, and Charisma would always come running.

Miss Ginger (AKA Princess Poo Poo) was a diva. She provided music during the first five minutes of every meal. She had a lot of eye problems, starting with juvenile cataracts, then glaucoma, followed by dry eye, and became completely blind by the time she was 7 years old. That didn't dampen her spirits, though. She still lead the way on walks, and was never afraid of thunder storms.  She was ghostwriter's little girlie and she made the journey across the Rainbow Bridge in 2010.

As many readers know, our Joey dog passed away one month ago. He was Doggie Chief Inspector, comestibles division, and founder of the Yum Yum Coalition, and my esteemed colleague. We all miss him terribly. But we take comfort knowing he is in good company with Charisma and Ginger, and all the other wonderful and dearly loved pets across the Rainbow Bridge.

We never forget our angels!

Here are a few links to some of our good friends who are also celebrating this day:
