Magic Icicle

Greetings steadfast friends! This is The Daily Bone and I’m your resolute doggie reporter Chester L. W. Stephens along with my faithful associate Joseph (Joey dog) Stephens.

We’ve some had some gelid winter weather lately. This morning it was -3º outside! But that hasn’t stopped our ghostwriter from finding some amazing winter sights and scenes.

If you don’t live in a part of the world that has hard winters, this is what a white-out looks like.

Here's what we saw early this morning:

The Moon in the east at 5AM.

The Moon in the east at 6AM.

Did you see the moon today, Princess?

It seems that icicles and snow drifts are trying to take over!

The front of our house.

Looking out the kitchen window.

Outside the nursing home window.

Here's an amazing little magic icicle that seems like it’s floating in the air.
Actually it’s hanging from an almost invisible strand of spider web.

Here it is a few hours later.

We were surprised by a spectacular sunset this evening!

Hey, the days are getting longer!

That means it won't be long before we can walk on the green grass under the shade of the maple tree in July!

  3. Icicles are quite beautiful but oh so dangerous...growlmy always is outside looking to see if she has to get any knocked down...
We get a magic one on a telephone wire sometimes. It would be pawsome to find one on a spider thread...how strong those strands are.

Um...its going to be that kind of weather here tonight through Sunday evening...then it likely will be headed your way to add to your layers of snowcover. OMD!

  8. I had a wonderful time with you Joey. You are such a kind and handsome gentlemen (and can still seriously bust a move on the dance floor). I hope your birthday today was a happy one.
