Sub-zero

Good morning. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your rugged doggie host Chester L. W. Spaniel.

It was minus 9 degrees this morning! Whew! That's cold! It has since gone up to 1º and ghostwriter decided she might go out and brave the frigid air to do a photo session with me and my sturdy associate Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.

I'm blazing a new path in the soft, fluffy snow! This should be a doggie Olympic winter sport! Any suggestions as to what to call it?

Joey dog is better at following an established path. Here he comes!

OK, we did our work. Now how about our yum yum treat?

You guys stay nice and toasty inside..with periods of snow zoomies outside!

  5. LOVED the cartoon and the photos of you two handsome boys playing in the snow. I'm keeping the futon warm while Mom works on marketing TBOB - she's at #7 at Amazon and it's her goal to make it No. 1 so she can donate more money to the rescue dogs.

  8. Doggy Snow Plowing!
You make a wall of snow just like the plow does when it rumbles down our road...

You pups sure have more fun in that snow than I do...we got more today, and more expected tomorrow. We felt warm here this morning, it was 3F...the other morning it was -11F Brrr!

  11. I was thinking to call it doggie snow plowing. You get points for maximum ear flappage. Oh, and I did get some little snow balls stuck to my hind end for some reason. That's why we get short haircuts despite the cold. We've heard stories about our patron saint, Old Miss Charisma, coming into the house covered with big snowballs on her long fur. While she didn't mind them, the humans didn't like all the puddles from when they melted!
