A Good Nice Day (Off!)

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, doggies and kitties. This is The Daily Bone and I’m your winsome doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel along with my esteemed colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.

Here we are waking up in the morning and wondering what the day will bring. Ghostwriter finally had a day off so we can be sure that we’ll be going outside for photo sessions.

Sun through icicles.

Two squirrels! Do you see them both?

Sneaking towards the bird feeder.

On second thought …

Bark bark bark bark!

Do you see this squirrel? Just follow my nose.

Meanwhile, in the front yard, there was a snow blower driving around clearing the sidewalks. Too bad they completely missed our sidewalk and made a nice neat path right over the lawn!

Right after the sun went down, there was a spectacular sight in the western sky:

A blue moon with Venus and Mars next to it! This photo doesn't do it justice!

I hope the Princess got to see it too.

  1. She saw it Chester ...... she saw it!!!!!!!!! She's ALWAYS lookin at it. Too many clouds here at the moment. I forget what the moon looks like.

  2. Wow! What a snowy yard ya got! And those evfur pesky tree rats...sheesh!
