Bone Chilling Morning

Good morning loyal readers! This is The Daily Bone and I’m your stout-hearted doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

It’s cold and windy today! It’s been snowing on and off all night and through the morning. Never-the-less, we doggies have to perform our due diligence and protect our territory from invaders.

My esteemed colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Stephens and I started out by scouting for squirrels here.

I’m doing some undercover work, sniffing for mousies.

I then move on to investigate a loud noise on the other side of the yard.

Woooooooohoooooo! A garbage truck!

Bark bark bark bark bark bark bark bark bark bark bark bark bark!

Actually, I was glad to see the garbage man was dressed in appropriate warm attire in this cold weather, unlike the mailman last week who was wearing shorts!

The Double Doggie Homeland Security System is pleased to announce there are no invaders in our yard, except for some little birdies hiding in the bushes; and that’s OK on such a cold day.

Now can I please go inside? It’s a bit too cold for me!

Looks like more snow is on its way!

I’ll take it from here, Special Agent Joey dog. Ghostwriter says that I have plenty of insulation.

Hey! What's that supposed to mean?

THE DOUBLE DOGGIE HOMELAND SECURITY SYSTEM ON DUTY 24/7
AND BARKING IS ALWAYS FREE!
