Our Chilly Day

This is The Daily Bone coming to you on a cold wintry day. I’m your robust and well insulated doggie host Chester L. W. Spaniel along with my hardy and shaggy-coated colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel. We are warm and cozy inside the house right now.

If you’ve been following us for the last couple days, you’d know we have snow. Here’s a picture of the storm yesterday afternoon.

However, it turned out that, unlike our neighbor Buffalo NY that got buried under several feet of snow, we only got a few inches. Here’s a great photo of the storm clouds over Lake Erie with the Niagara River in the foreground. Thanks Uncle John in N. Tonawanda for this shot!

It's supposed to warm up by Sunday and all the snow will soon melt.

We'd better enjoy it while we can!

The high winds blew an alien squeaky ball into the next door neighbor’s yard.

Tracks in the snow.

Hey Dad, what's that thing? Can we ride on it?

  1. Gosh, them Buffalos got dumped on! That time lapse thing wuz neat.
Enjoy yur fresh air an lil dab o' snow!

  2. Oh snow, I wants snow.
But Mum says if we had that much snow, the few inches you have, the whole of the country would grind to a holt !
That would be funs wouldn't it ? Mum would haf to stay at home !
    Loves and licky kisses

  4. Our Mama says you got just the right amount of snow...not too much, but enough to make your grasses white!

  5. You guys are so cute! Your yard looks like a great place to run, glad you didn't get Buffalo-level snow. :)

    1. Welcome Maggie and Duke! Thanks for visiting us!

We're glad we didn't get snowed in. But it's real cold tonight! You'd think it was the middle of January instead of November!

  6. Crikey the snow pictures are starting ...... I LOVE snow pictures!!

  7. WE got really cold, then snow, then rain and slush, then really cold and a little more snow on top of the frozen slush and ice - ugh! Makes it hard for Dad to shovel so we can go do our bidness

    1. Whoa that sounds terrible! Be careful in that ice!

  8. Yes, growlmy said there was a thin layer of ice underneath our snow blanket too.
Pawppy is coming home in a couple days, and he hopes the snow will be gone, BOL! Not if we lived in your area...well in Buffalo. How on earth does anything get started on the clean up there...and how many roofs are going to cave in. Yikes!

  9. Hi there,

    1. I'm sure our neighbors in Buffalo NY would be happy to send you some of their snow!

  10. Ooohh I look pretty cold to me.

  11. Guys you both need all the extra layers of fluff over there. Yous need some fluffy slippers, you can always borrow mine, if I ask Auntie Mel for 'em back after she stole them the other day.
