Rabbit

This is a TDB Fast Breaking News Story!
I'm your big champion rabbit hunter doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

Look Mom! I caught a rabbit for you! It's a big fat rabbit too! It must weigh three pounds!

It was hiding in the leaf pile right here and I caught it all by myself!

Are we going to have rabbit stew for dinner today? Because I caught the rabbit for you to cook!

I'm a very good rabbit hunter!

Oh boy! I can't wait for some yummy rabbit stew. Are you going to put carrots in it? How about potatoes? Yum yum yum!

(Does anyone know how to prepare a freshly killed rabbit?)

  5. Note from Mom: I had no idea Chester was catching a rabbit this afternoon! I was on the other side of the yard and didn't find out until it was too late. Cockers are good hunters, and this isn't the first rabbit he's caught.

  8. Oh Chester. My mom think you are a bad dog. I don't understand why. I would love to chase such a rabbit myself :)

  9. Yikes that's quite the introduction Chester. My sister sheltie, Tuvia eats raw rabbit but it comes in nice plastic packages without the fur wrapping. There are quite a few rabbits hopping around at the local auto mall. Some people had released a few rabbits several years ago and you know rabbits...BTW my brother Owen and I are mostly Cocker Spaniels with a little unknown thrown in. We're glad that you stopped by my blog. It looks like we have a few common blog friends as well. I'll be back soon Chester.

    1. Hi Sam and welcome to you and your family. It's actually quite rare that I actually catch something. I'll explain that in my next post. I don't often get to brag about my hunting skills.

According to Joey dog, our Miss Charisma (whom I never had the honor of knowing) had arthritic back problems when she got very, very old, and became paralyzed in her hind legs. We're glad to see you are coping so well with your handicap and have such a wonderful and supportive family! Oh, and yes, we do have a lot of great doggie blog friends in common! See you soon!

    2. I had a disk go shortly before my 6th birthday. I'm 10 now. My peeps did surgery but my rear leggies didn't come back. But I've managed pretty good since then. I also get weekly swims, laser therapy for aches and arthritis every 2 weeks, monthly acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments and lots of supplements too,
