Scram!

Hello. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your diligent doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel, with today's update of the ongoing grackle invasion. I think they should rename themselves the Great Grackle Flying Circus!

This guy popped up on the window feeder this morning. He didn't even introduce himself, and immediately started complaining.

Hey! Still no seeds!

And hardly any suet left!

Oh that makes me so angry!

Don't make me come up there!

Umph! Hey you stingy humans!

And your little dog too!

I'll have you know, this means war!

Oh, I'm SO scared!

Bark Bark Bark Bark!

Yipes!

BARK BARK BARK SCRAM!

Harumph! I guess I showed him!

Oh, and look look look lookie look! We FINALLY have some flowers!

It's spring!

(A few hours later … )
Nope!

  5. You sure have your paws full keeping those grackles out of your yard. We couldn't believe our eyes when we woke up and saw how much snow we had on the ground. Oh well it's supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow.

  6. Nice work chasing that grackle away, Chester!
I promise, spring will come to your house. It's already been to ours. Our daffies have come and gone, and most of our trees are past blossoming. Now it's baseball season! BOL!

  9. A birds only real weapon is poop. Make sure you wear a hat when you go out. And you might want to bet a cover for the cars

  11. Dear friend Chester,

That is a grumpy looking bird! I am glad you chased it away!

That is very sad about your hijacked spring, however. We hope it comes back soon!

  17. Hi hi hi! Ojo here! You are being gone from Blog-world for long times just like I am! I hope it is also because spring has come and it is way better to be outside than inside at a computer! (Plus my paws don't fit on the keyboard so well... It's better to lie out in the sun instead.) We hope you are well, we hope your nasty birds went away, and we hope you've had lots of spring sunshine!
