Quick Post

Hello. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

There hasn't been much going on around here lately. Now that all the birdie seeds are gone, most of those nasty grackles have moved on. We miss all the other nice birdies, though. Ghostwriter says maybe she'll try filling up the feeders next week.

As you can see, the grass is getting green. Oh and look look look lookie look!
We had two little crocus flowers blooming by the back door.

The weather can't decide if it wants to be cold or warm. The wind was blowing like crazy again!
One minute it's sunny and the next it's overcast.

We looked up and saw a big jet fly right over our heads!

The moon was just a thin sliver—can you see it below?—and turkey vultures flew by again.

The robins and the spring peepers were singing when the sun went down.

Good night.

  4. We have had several days of beautiful springlike weather, the grass is really green, and the trees have all burst into flowers. BUT today is the end - a wave of very cold air is headed our way at least for several days. Mom says it's OK as long as there isn't more rain. It is still pretty wet in the yard. Glad to hear the grackles are disappearing.

  5. Chester the pretty purple posie is for sure a sign of spring.
I loved your photo at the end...
I cackled a wee bit at Maddie cat popping you on the nose. Kat's mom told me for several weeks she would not leave Kat and Pup unattened.....WHY? Because she was worried Kat would bop Pup on the head and nose etc. Hugs Cecilia

  6. It looks so lovely at your place. While our place still looks like a place north of the wall, spring must be coming as our bird seed is lasting 5 or 6 days instead of less than a day.

  8. I'm glad the mean birds are gone! We hit 90 degrees yesterday so I think our winter is officially gone! LOL!

  10. Oh Chester L. W. Spaniel we had a plane whose engine stopped and came down in a neighbors' new house addition. The pilot died. I live near a small airport and he was trying to make it to the airport. I don't like it when things fall from the sky. Have a good night.
