National Napping Day

Hello everyone. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your diligent doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

The weatherman said it was supposed to warm up this weekend. If you call 40º warm, then he was right. There was also yet another high wind alert. Frankly, we're getting tired of this same old, same old, same old weather.

So I'm standing in what's left of our snow. Now it's nothing but frozen spots and globules stuck to the flattened grass mixed with  last years leaves.

Fortunately, today is National Napping Day! Hooray! Sleeping is our favorite sport in this house, and has been for a long time. Here's an old picture of nap time with our patron saint Old Charisma and puppy Joey dog:

So I think I'll be doing just that.

  1. It was way too nice a day today to nap here. But we will take you up on that over the next three days of rain:)

  3. We did our fair share of napping today in honor of the holiday. Our temperatures have warmed up to the upper 70s and 80s so Mom is very happy.

  4. Yup, napping would be good...and we are practicing that while petcretary is at work...she's on her break, so she hopes we are napping, BOL!

  5. We seem to be having the same weather, Chester, but I think I have more snow than you do. Mom is anxious to see green grass but I am still loving my beautiful white snow! Napping is just so relaxing, isn't it☺

  6. Our yard is an icy mess too Chester. We lost power Sunday night just as the sun was going down. Luckily it only took about 2 hours for it to come back on.

  9. 40 degrees? I would see a doctor then, that's feverish! Oh, hold on, it's probably Fahrenheit. That will be cold right?
    Happy napping,
