I Broke My Promise Already!

This is The Daily Bone. Welcome friends everywhere. I’m your vigilant doggie correspondent Chester L. W. Spaniel.

I know I promised not to talk about spiders anymore. I made a solemn vow because some readers don’t like spiders and get creeped out at my ghostwriter’s photos of them. But …

… it could have crawled into your slippers!

How to eliminate a spider: Step 1. Slurp it up with your tongue and roll it around gingerly in your mouth. Step 2. Spit it out and step on it. Step 3. Eat it.

Look Mom, I caught the spider for you! And I ate it so you don't even have to clean it up! I am a very good spider catcher!

Here's that site that debunks spider myths in case you missed it last time:

  15. Crikey ..... you didn't eat it did you?? It could have been a funnel web? They're on the move here at the moment and they are deadly. If one of those got in your Mom's slipper and she put her foot in she'd be deaded and if you ate one you'd be deaded. Mum would freak right out if I ate a spider. Good job on protecting your Mom's slippers, though.

    1. Dont worry. It was a tiny harmless sac spider. Mom usually catches them before I do and puts them outside. We rarely get dangerous spiders around here. I've heard about the deadly ones you have in Australia, though.
