Soggy Dog Sunday

Good morning. This is the Sunday edition of The Daily Bone and I’m your damp doggie host Chester L. W. Spaniel along with my esteemed associate Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.

It’s been raining all weekend here! Everything is soaking wet and muddy. Nevertheless, we saw an evil squirrel sitting in our beloved pear tree, eating a pear! Grrrrrr. There are hardly a dozen pears growing this year, and we doggies are not about to allow this kind of wanton theft! We went out to chase it away, and then patrol the boarder to be sure there are no other thieving miscreants.

Away I go!
Consulting with my experienced colleague about a scent.
The quadrant is free is twitchy-tailed varmints!
Inspecting the flower garden zone.
No nut-brained fustilarians here!
Where's Chester?
Wet foliage doesn't stop me!

We doggies can confidently say there are no evil squirrels on our property at this time, and you have our solemn pledge to keep it that way!

I don't mind getting wet if it's for a noble cause.
Maintaining on-going surveillance.
