Hello friends and fans. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your diligent doggie reporter
Chester L. W. Spaniel.
Today I'm joining the Blogville blog hop called "How I Spent My Summer Vacation."
We really didn't do anything special for a vacation. But a lot of things happened.
It seems there was a thunderstorm every few days this summer.
It seems there was a thunderstorm every few days this summer.
But those storms would often be followed by an amazing sunset.
Or a rainbow!
We saw lots of birdies on our window feeder.
There were lots of flowers blooming all summer long.
Our big hydrangea bush was blooming like crazy this year!
We saw the solar eclipse!
Joey's pear tree has lots of nice pears growing this summer! Wow!
Ryan had a big announcement to make!
Unfortunately our dear Oma had to go to a nursing home because she kept falling down in her house. But she was able to visit us for her 91st birthday!
I got a new kitty cat cousin named Hannibal.
And finally, after Hurricane Irma, my Florida associate Miss Charlee and her humans Jessy and Dan in Boca Raton were safe. They spent the weekend at a friend's house that was built to withstand hurricane winds. By Monday morning, Miss Charlee was very glad to be able to go home to her own house that sustained only a minor amount of damage.
I think that was a pretty busy summer without going anywhere!
And that's my report. Good night.

Your summer sounds a bit like ours especially the parts about the rain and the birds. How exciting for Ryan to be promoted to big brother.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a VERY interesting summer and congratulations to Ryan for future big brother duties. That's wonderful news for your family.
ReplyDeleteYour summer was a lot of fun, and we are pretty happy that we got to witness most of it through your great photos. We missed the part about Ryan becoming a big brother. That is very exciting.

That was a furry filled up summertime, Chester. And Ryan in his big brother role will have lots of fun teaching his new sibling all about those big trucks he loves so much!
ReplyDeleteGlad that your Florida furmily members weathered that nasty Irma without too much trouble.
You had a great summer, Chester - and we are so happy that Miss Charlee and her family made it through Irma! Congratulations to Ryan and his peeps!
ReplyDeleteHi Chester
ReplyDeleteYour summer was full and I think I recall you had to nurse GW some of the early part of the summer. We loved the rainbow and sunset photos.
Hugs madi your bff
Its only when you stop and look back you realise just how busy and exciting your summer has been.
ReplyDeleteThere was a pink moon here the other evening but by the time I'd dragged the peeps outside to photograph it the clouds had come over....what I should have done really was call you dearest Chester rather than mess around with the peeps! Lesson learnt, phone call first then peeps!
Loves and licky kisses
