Hello Kitties and Other News

Greetings friends and fans! This is a TDB special report. I'm your amiable doggie reporter
Chester L. W. Spaniel.

There is a new kitty cat in the family! His name is Hannibal Barca and he lives with my kitty cousins Maddie (aka Medusa aka TKO The Kitten Overlord) and Tibie (aka Tiberius.) (Don't ask me where his Joanna human, comes up with these names!) Here he is below, presiding over the cat tower:

He was adopted from Lollypop Farms, a local animal shelter.

I also received a recent picture of my friend Pixie who lives in the Chicago area.

Pixie's humans, Carol and Dan, like to visit Chincoteague Island every year to see the wild ponies there. They always post lots of wonderful pony pictures. By the way, Pixie comes along for the trip! She enjoys riding in the car.

I love to see the ponies that are the same colors as me!

I found some cat vs dog comics to share.

And now we say Happy Birthday to our Oma who is 91 years old today!

One more news note: We're hoping that Hurricane Irma slows down or heads out to sea in the next few days. My esteemed South Florida associate Miss Charlee and her humans live in The Hurricane Terror Area! See map below.

Miss Charlee

  1. You sure have a lot of news today Chester. We hope Miss Charlee and her family are missed by Miss Irma. We see that according to your map we are in the "F This" zone. That seems appropriate too sometimes.

  2. We are in the smokey zone - fires all around us

  3. Chester, your new cousin is very handsome! I likes that he has taken over the tower, possession is 9/10's of the law as the peeps say! I sure hopes that Irma behaves herself and heads out to sea, cause she's already caused WAY too much destruction. I will keep my paws crossed. Oh yes, we are in the frickin' HOT zone fursure! and YES, the frickin' ground does move too! BOL

  4. We are in that snow covered area...and it sure was feelinf chilly here today...65 or thereabout was the high.

Hope your furmily will be safe. And for Irma to lose her fury.

Happy Birthday to your Oma! What a huge bouquet of lovely blooms!

  5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Oma, have a wonderful day

  6. Happy birthday to Oma. She makes 91 look like the new 65! Congratulations on the new addition to your kitty extended family. The map made Mom and me crack up. Especially the area where the air is made of hot soup, and the place where the flippin' ground moves. Great update, C.

    Love and licks,

  7. What a pretty kitty Hannibal Barca is! We laughed and laughed at that first joke☺
Irma is not nice. We hope she stays FAR away from your Charlee, Chester!
    Happy Birthday, Oma!

  8. I heard that Irma did some damage to the Dutch Antilles which are in that area as well. Absolutely love that map. So very funny. Is that an official school map?

That looks like a lovely bunch of flowers your Oma got for her birthday. I bet she was well chuffed with them!

  9. Chester what a wonderful post and full of Kitties...OMCs...thank you for sharing the new feline family members!! Mom got a chuckle of of Mother Goose and Grim last week too.
We have lots of friends in HTA, hurricane terror area, too and we are so very worried and hope and purr that beast Irma somehow gets sucked into the Great Atlantic.
We love that map and agree 100% we are in Air made of Hot soup and every so often HTA.
Crazy Irma's current path has her coming smack in the middle of NC which is where we live.
    Hugs madi your bfff
