Creaky Knees And Chewy Bones

This is The Daily Bone, and I'm your diligent doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel. Welcome!

I hope my fellow bloggers won't mind that we're a little behind on reading your posts. Ghostwriter had some surgery (arthroscopy) on her creaky left knee today. She was amazed that they did the entire procedure, including general anesthesia, at an outpatient clinic. (She hates going to the  hospital.) She says the knee feels OK for now, and she's walking around. Sometimes she uses some big long stick things called crutches. I prefer to stay away from those things.
Ghostwriter says I'm being silly.

She was also pleased that they didn't blow out her veins, whatever that means. But the good thing is that she won't have to go back to work for a month! Woohooo! She'll be home with me and Dad all the time.

Needless to say I got stuck at home by myself all day while Dad and ghostwriter were at the surgical center. However, as you can see, I got a new chewy bone to keep me busy.

It's a very good and delicious wonderful yum yum chewy tasty mine-all-mine bone too.

So, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to chew on it some more.
I'll keep you updated on ghostwriter's knee.

  9. Glad you were able to guard the den whilst your pawrents were at the surgical center. Hope there isn't too much ouchies in that knee. Get well wishes to your Ghostwriter!
I think I would have big woofs at sticks like that, or at least a growl or two to tell them who was the real boss.
