Hello friends and fans. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your cheerful doggie reporter
Chester L. W. Spaniel.
I am sorry to say that we have absolutely no flowers today. But look what we got instead! Snow!
Hooray!
The snow plow went by this morning too, but all he did was drop a little salt on the roads.
It's been windy and super sunny, but still cold enough that the snow didn't melt.
Ghostwriter was not very happy about it. She had to clean snow and ice off her car this morning so she could go to physical therapy. (Dad is out of town today—or else she would have had him do this—but he'll be back tonight.) But she survived. She even survived a whole bunch of new exercises and stretches for her new knee!
Anyway, so instead of flowers, we're going to show you some pretty pictures of the snow.
I wonder if the snow will still be here tomorrow?
I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
We love the snow. I guess that is because we don't get it very often in the Portland area. For now, we will enjoy your beautiful pictures. Stay cozy and warm, Chester!

You got more snow than we did here. Ours is still there where the sunbeams coudln't reach it. But OMD, its SO cold! It was only 17F, (We tied a record!), here this morning, and more of the same tonight or colder even...Brrr! Good thing we are blessed with a good furnace and cozy nests to rest in.
ReplyDeleteGood job of your GW going solo to PT.
We think those snow pictures are just as pretty as any flower!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Jakey, Arty & Rosy
Those are great pictures of the snow. You have pictures of flowers too, they are just under the snow.
ReplyDeleteWe love seeing the snow. Flowers are nice and pretty to look at, but snow is so much more fun - run, jump, slide!!! Geez, wish we had some snow.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Wooooohoooooooo! OMD, that looks FABulous Chester! I would loooooves some snow instead of the icky rain. The berries are beautifuls!
ReplyDeleteI hopes Ghostwriter's knee is okays after the torture of the therapy ~ if she needs a margarita (or a jumbo size of Advil) you knows where to find me!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Evfurry year I hear about this snow stuff from my pals around the country. I'll nevfur understand it. We don't have that here. I'm glad is makes you happy!
ReplyDeleteI will trade you my flowers for your snow, Chester! The autumn leaves and berries with the snow are just BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteHi Chester, can you believe that none of us 4 legs have seen snow. Mommy says the boys were in elementary school the last time it snowed here. They are all grown up now.
ReplyDeleteChester thank goodness all your purrty flowers hibernating...they would not like the snow. We are glad GW made it to/from PT in A-okay condition! We awoke to 28 degrees here in NC..brrrrr
ReplyDeleteStay warm
Hugs Madi your bfffff
we love the leaves on the snow! We have had a little snow twice but it doesn't stay. We have snow in the mountains though

You did find some pretty leaves to show with the snow. We had fun doing snow zoomies yesterday but our pawrents didn't like the wind chill yesterday. The snow is still here at our house this morning but we don't think it will survive the weekend.
ReplyDeleteYour yard looks just like ours.
ReplyDeleteTell ghostwriter to be very, very careful on the snow! I'm glad her knee is getting better. I can't believe y'all have snow already.
ReplyDeleteAwesome early snow pictures, C. Snow, autumn leaves, doggie footprints. There's nuthin' I don't love about that!
ReplyDeleteLove and licks,
Cupcake
We had a tiny bit of snow on Friday, but then it started raining (again) and it was gone in an instant. I think this means it's going to be winter soon.
ReplyDeleteMara from Norway
We really like those colorful leaves against the now! We can't wait for snow! Ut oh, mom is screaming "Noooooooooo!"
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Be careful out there in the snow.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of the red berries and leaves.

ReplyDeleteI have never seen snow so I'm so happy you have posted these photos!
Please post many more... I would really, really, really love to play in the snow like my blog friends!
Lots of licks, your good friend Morrie :)
