Things Can Change Really Fast Around Here!

Hey hey hey! This is The Daily Bone and I'm your doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

You would not believe the weather we're having today! One minute it's sunny, and the next it's snowing! Well, actually it wasn't snow, but something called graupel. Since we're all science geeks in this house, my report wouldn't be complete without a scientific diagram about what graupel is and how it forms.

After the graupel fell for a while, the sun would come out! So would all the birdies.

Likewise, the Evil Squirrel Cartel and the Conniving Chipmunk Consortium!

Grrrrrrrrrrrr!

Zoom!

The screwy squirrels usually go up the silver maple tree. But those sneaky little chipmunks go through ghostwriter's garden.

You can't fool me! I can smell your stinky little feet!

I'm going in after you! Grrrrr!

I'll get you if I have to flatten every flower in this patch!

"CHESTER!!!!! BAD BOY! YOU GET OUT OF THERE RIGHT NOW!"

Crummy little smelly rotten stripey rat face varmint wretched good-for-nothing miscreant …

Snnoorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrk

  1. Your grass is so nice and green now. Hope the graupel is gone for good now. It got pretty chilly here for the past two days and we have more rain coming in tonight - with a rainy week ahead.

It doesn't seem quite fair that you get labeled as the bad dog when it was all that darn chipmunk's fault!!!

  2. We admire your tenacity in chasing that tree rat! Have you checked your calendar? Did you turn it to May or is it stuck on April?

That is strange weather we are having this month...though right now it feels like we need to put in the AC...

Hope not too many blooms were harmed in the varmint chasing episode...
