Hello everyone. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your patient doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.
As you know I've been taking care of my ghostwriter who had a knee replacement last Tuesday. We don't have many flowers left because ghostwriter cut most of them down to get ready for winter. But she did leave the morning glories climbing up the railing by the front door.
A couple of rainy days nearly beat them down.
But they kept coming back!
And now for the yum yum section of our report.
Pork tenderloin, mashed sweet potatoes, and steamed vegies. |

Next we have a few funny comics:
And finally, here are a couple pictures of my kitty cat cousins:

Oh, and in case you're wondering, ghostwriter is still limping around on crutches. She had some pretty bad pain yesterday, but it's getting better.
I still think if she'd take that bandage off and let me put some doggie spit on that incision, it would heal up faster!
Those morning glories are so pretty. We agree that Ghostwriter should let you lick her wound because dog spit is a special ingredient that aids in healing.
ReplyDeleteSomeone gave petcretary some morning glory seeds a few weeks ago...maybe next season she will have lovely blooms like yours!
ReplyDeleteFur sure, Chester you must insist on the licky treatment:)
Hope your Ghostwriter improves each day! POTP! Here most peeps are in the hospital 2 or three nights, followed often by inpatient rehab. Esp if they live alone. So fur her to be home with you, its wonderful!
You're right, Chester. Doggie spit does work miracles! Love those heavenly blue morning glories!
ReplyDeleteChester the morning glories are glorious!
ReplyDeleteThe yum yum report has our mouths watering
MOL MOL MOL Your kitty cousins and I need a can opener
Healing kitty kisses to GW's knee
Madi your bffff
Some pretty pretty felines there! And those flowers look lovely. Glad to hear Ghostwriter is doing a bit better. Even if she is on crutches.

Glad Ghostwri is up to blogging and eating.
ReplyDeleteDoctor Chester's doggy spit would help for sure! Hope each day is better for Ghostwriter

I am the spokesmodel for that toy choosing cartoon. Every day, Mom has to say, "What about this one?" a hundred times before I can decide which toys I want to play with. Your nursing skills are impressive, C. Doggy spit is the best medicine. Plus resting your "bony head" on the incision. Moms love that.
ReplyDeleteLove and licks,
Cupcake
We enjoyed everything from your morning glories to your cartoons but Mom always gets envious of your meals. LOL!
ReplyDeleteDoggy spit cures all:) Tell Ghostwriter to follow the doctor's orders - time heals all. Those morning glories are beautiful, love the pink stripes.
ReplyDeleteWoos- Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We forgot to say that Mom thinks your kitties are very pretty. To us, well, they are cats:)
ReplyDeleteWoos- Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Those are some pretty flowers. We are praying for a quick recovery for your mom
ReplyDeletePraying that knee heals up nicely and soon. My brother has had knee surgery before (more than once) and will eventually need a replacement. His knee always looks so sore and swollen.
ReplyDeletePain is no fun. PS, Blueberry agrees that dog drops would definitely make the healing go faster. ;)
Oh Chester, you are one smart cookie! I ALWAYS tells Ma that doggie slobbers are natures MIRACLE solution! It heals, it glues, it can take paint off walls ~ endless possibilities!!
ReplyDeleteI say..lick away my furiend!
Oh, and I barks at my toys too....Ma has yet to come and pick one out for me though....sigh.
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Oh Chester, we just love your morning glories!!!
