There Was A Mousie!

Hello everyone. This is The Daily Bone, and I'm your diligent doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH

We interrupt your regularly scheduled program with a TDB news flash. It's snowing! I'm your on-the-spot doggie reporter Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel and I'm live in the back yard. It's SNOWING!
LOOK LOOK LOOK!

… Ahem, where was I? Oh, I kept trying to get underneath Dad's work bench to catch the mousie.

It was a smart and tricky mousie too. It took the peanut butter off the snap trap without triggering it. Dad didn't like to have to resort to using a sticky trap to catch it, but it worked.

Wow! What a big mousie! I wanted to have the mousie, but Dad said no because I might get tangled up in the sticky stuff. He took the mousie away and I haven't seen it or smelled it or heard it since.

I think I could have caught that mousie. I'm going to catch the next one that comes along!

In fact I'm going to dream about it, and think of how I'm going to catch it. Good night!
