Crazy Windy Day!

Hi there everyone. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your steadfast doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel. I'm on location in the backyard patrolling the perimeter.

The wind is blowing like crazy today! There are leaves and seeds and milkweed fluffs flying everywhere!

The trees were flailing their limbs and throwing sticks and leaves through the air!

The clouds are chugging by like freight trains!

My earnest associate Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel has been checking out the wind.
It seems to be approaching maximum ear flap velocity.

He recommends staying indoors to avoid getting debris in your eyes.

I am undeterred by the blustering wind! I will still carry out my appointed rounds.

Meanwhile, there are reports that we might have snow mixed with rain this coming weekend. Ghostwriter refuses to acknowledge this possibility. Because …

… even though Garden Buddha is surrounded with color …

… and the driveway is crowded with arborvitae seeds and maple leaves …

… and the sun sets earlier and farther south every day …

… and the hawthorn berries are turning red …

… and the birch leaves are all yellow and almost gone …

… we still have Indian summer to look forward to!

OK ghostwriter. If you say so.
