Summer Day

Good evening everybody. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your pertinacious doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

My ghostwriter has been working, working, working! Today she finally got a chance to take some pictures of the beautiful farmland she passes every day on her way to work and back.

Dairy Farm.

John Deere dealer.

Fields.

We saw some incredible clouds this afternoon.

Can you see the thin crescent moon in this picture?

Oh, but that reminds me. I haven't heard from my favorite Princess in a long time.

Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel here. While Chester wallows in self pity, I'd like to present a quick food review, and remind the ladies that I still don't have a date for the Sadie Hawkins dance in Blogville.

Here's some great Chinese take-out.

For a quick meal there's chicken tenders with biscuits and steamed vegetables.

This is ghostwriter's latest attempt at cooking Indian food.

Hey, I wasn't wallowing!

  1. We wish our clouds looked like yours - we had storm clouds today , and tonight there were several tornadoes in the area. Luckily they all missed us. Have a great weekend and hope the Ghostwriter gets some time off.

  2. Dear Chester and Joey,

A good nap and a good lunch... And some clouds for gazing upon! What more could a Dog ask for? (Okay, a few things. Like bacon. And bunnies.)

    1. Has anyone noticed we haven't seen or heard from Princess Leah in over a week? Ghostwriter says she and her humans are probably on vacation or something. But a doggie can't help but worry.
