This is The Daily Bone and I'm your enthusiastic doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel along with my esteemed colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel. Welcome to the first day of Autumn!
Today's Google Doodle featured a squirrel hiding behind some gourds to announce the Fall Equinox!
Joey dog is on location in our dining room with a bowl of gourds that ghostwriter purchased a couple days ago. So far, no squirrels have been spotted behind any of them.
Our first day of Fall weather was great! The skies were perfectly blue, and the air was cool and refreshing.
The moon was out early.
The sun set with a yellow glow.
Ghostwriter reported that yesterday, while driving to work in the morning, she saw a squirrel in almost every front yard. They all seemed to be digging holes in the grass. I wonder what the Evil Squirrel Cartel is up to now? After patrolling all day, we only saw one squirrel in our territory who was after the peanuts we put out for the blue jays.
|Peanuts? For me?|
|The peanuts are for the jays!|
Oh, and we did not see that drone today. Perhaps the bird from the Dogs of C-Kennel had something to do with that!
