Greetings everyone. This is The Daily Bone, Princess Edition, and we're your diligent doggie reporters Rosie and Baby Spaniel. We have a lot to report!
Today we went to see our groomer, Miss Jacquie for our very first summer buzz cut. So now we can celebrate our new sleek figures just in time for the summer heat.
In honor of our predecessors Angels Chester L. W. Spaniel and Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel, we are going to look up and look down and find some amazing stuff!

The sky here has been very hazy lately, and the sun looks like a big orange squeaky ball. That's because there is smoke from a big forest fire north of us in Canada.

We thought we'd get a spectacular sunset. But instead, the sun just disappeared behind the smoky horizon.
Next we're going to look around and see some of our beautiful summer flowers!
And finally, looking down, there seems to be snow on the ground! This is very strange, indeed!
Our GW told us this fuzzy white stuff is actually millions of seeds from the local cottonwood trees. Wonders never cease!
Well, I think we've completed our report. We looked up at the hazy skies, around at the wonderful flowers, and down at the fuzzy seeds on the ground.
Time for a dinner break. And a well earned nap!

Your summer cuts look wonderful and your flowers are just beautiful! We are getting the smoke from up North too and our sun looks the same as yours.

I'm up in Canada but luckily not where the fires are, we've had a lot of smoke too so much that they recommended that you stay indoors. Hope it gets better, we have an agility trial on Saturday.
