Week Two

Greetings friends and fans. This is The Daily, and I am your original ghostwriter reporting today.

The puppies, Rosie and Baby have been here for two weeks now, and it's been very busy. They're finally settling down into a daily routine and having less "accidents" in the house.

Us? Accidents?

They love running in the snow!

It's been bitter cold here the last couple days, so we don't let them stay outside for more than a few minutes.

They keep Dad and me very busy. But I did take a little time to notice the ever-changing sky.

Sunrise

Moon rise

Storm clouds

Snowflakes (enlarge picture to really see them.)

Is it dinner time yet?

  2. Hello Rosie ... Hello Baby! We are so very happy to meet you both. Now you know you have some very big paws to fill, but we've no doubt you're up to the task and will do amazingly well. You have joined an awesome family and have two very special "angels" who will guide you along the way. We look forward to sharing so many adventures with you. Just be sure you keep the GW in line and
ask her about the "squirrel cartel" and all the other things you'll need to know come springtime. Love, your friends, June the Cat (and I am a good cat) and her mommy, Ann

  3. You two sure are enjoying your new home and it sounds like your mom and dad are loving having you around too. We sure have had some bitter cold days lately, but the weather peeps say we should be able to enjoy some time outside this coming week.

  6. Baby and Rosie are very cute. I love how they sleep together! It reminds Mom of the previous hairy slobbery sisters Bob and Sam. Mom says that 2 pups are easier than 1. But I think they might double the tiredness when they are little, We can see that they are bundles of fun! Purrs Marv
PS We LOVE your sky shots, even the one with the snow.

  7. They are both so beautiful. They look like they are very closely bonded. That's the nice thing about getting two at one time, but we know a lot of the rest of what comes with puppyhood is challenging:)

Thank you for your kind words for Misty. She is having a hard time with the prednisone, and we are going to try her next week with budesonide, similar but hopefully with a little less intensity. It has to be compounded specific to her, so it won't be ready until at least Tuesday. Once we actually have it in hand, we have to taper off her prednisone before starting the new one. This is going to be a long process getting her well again:(

  8. So pleased the 'girls' are doing well and having fewer accidents. I don't envy you going through the housetraining business in the middle of winter!
    Cheers, Gail.

  10. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW Rosie and Baby you two are all kinds of adorable. I love how you love each other and so happy you could stay together in your furever home.
I'm wondering if either of you will become the resident foodie? I enjoyed all the seeing all the delish GW and Dad made. No matter what your duties will be I look forward to watching you grow.
    Hugs Cecilia
