The Girls

Um, hi. This is The Daily Bone, Princess Edition. We are the student reporters and resident princess sisters Baby and Rosie.

We have been told that we have a lot to learn before we can do any professional reporting like our predecessors Chester L. W. Spaniel and Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel. Our Mommy (aka ghostwriter) says our first lesson is to always remember to look up and look down to find amazing things.

Well, we looked down and found out that old pinecones taste great. So does grass and dead leaves and sticks on the lilac bush and pear tree. (We don't think Mommy is too happy about us eating those things.) We looked up this morning and saw the sun rising.

There was a little snow on the grass. (Snow is yummy too.)

When we went inside, we had a tug-o-war over a chewy toy.

We also practiced our food-watching technique.

And that's all for now. It's nap time.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz .......

Ghostwriter here. You wouldn't ever think these two princesses just got their spay surgery last Monday. They insist on running around the yard like crazy, romping and playing indoors and out, and not listening to me when I call them.

Oh, and they asked if they could use this song for their future princess reports:

Squeaky toy serenade

  2. You two did a great job for your first report. We can see why you would be all tired out from so much exploring and playing. That Squeaky Toy Serenade was great, and we also liked his "Mozart - Queen of the Night on The Chicken" too. You should check that one out.

  6. Rosy and Baby, you will probably find, like I did, that mommies can be very fussy about what one eats, more's the pity. But smart move practicing food watching technique! Patience is almost always rewarded by something being dropped on the floor and it is important to be ready to pounce.
    Toodle-oo!

OMDs I think you did a wonderful job even as student reporters. You cover the great outdoors top to bottom and well done of the food editorial
and you are funny. I giggled at your opening statement!!

  9. We think you are getting the hang of reporting, Girls. And petcretary almost fell off her chair, she was laughing so hard at that chicken music. Benji came over to see what he was hearing...Dalton just wiggled his ears back and forth, BOL!!

  10. Food watching is a good technique to learn, but no begging. My boys like to eat snow too.

  12. Please thank GW for her comment on my new header. For probably the first 6 years I blogged I was so afraid to change headers...BECAUSE I knew I could not fix it. But as my confidence grew I became braver. Just had to practice and not panic. LOL
Hugs to you to lovely Princesses and./or Student reporters
