First Day of June

Greetings friends and fans. This is The Daily Bone, and I'm your dedicated doggie reporter, Chester L. W. Spaniel.

It's been a while since we've posted. We still don't have the new computer up and running, and my ghostwriter had to work the entire holiday weekend.  Harumph!

Anyway, as you can see, there are lots of flowers blooming in our yard right now.

For our next story, the Evil Squirrel Cartel has been trying to plunder the birdie feeders again. Here's Einstein Dingaling and Madam Curie Potatochips:

Rats! Not much to eat down here!

Madam Currie Potatochips tried to go to the source, with no success. If anything heavier than a sparrow gets on our feeder, the seed ports close.

Curses!

If you're so smart, let's see you crack that safe!

Heheheheh!

Hey squirrels,  your ride is here!

And if you don't want to take a swim in the street cleaner truck, there goes the garbage truck!

Bwahahahaha!

But wait, there's more! The crazy red angry cardinal is still trying to attack his reflection in the dining room window.

Cowabunga!

Yipes!

In conclusion, we must take a few minutes to appreciate the beautiful blue skies, and spectacular summer clouds.

And that's our report for today!

Good night!

  4. Hidey Ho Chester
    Your posies are absolutely gawgeous!
I hope GW has some much deserved time off for a few days.
Dang looks like the squirrels WORKED over the weekend too.
BOL BOL I think we have a new squirrel in our 'hood. Crazy thing keeps climbing up our bird feeder pole which has a barrel shaped baffle on it. He gets to the top of the baffle and it appears he is bang his head all around.

  5. It's good to see you and all those pretty flowers, Chester. Your garden seems to be a week or two ahead of us. You must be just far enough south of us to be a bit warmer than we are. Good work foiling those squirrels attempts at trying to eat the bird seed.

  10. Yep! We are a day late! Mom was busy doing "stuff" and we did not get on the computer until now. We LOVE your flowers and the antics of your squirrels. We have had an explosion of Moles and voles and Marv and Kozmo have been busy boys! Mr D is so happy that he has left a window open so they can get into his garage to get them, and Kozmo also got the squirrel that was terrorizing his bird feeder! I think he was a cousin of Einstein Dingaling and Madam Curie Potatochips. Thanks for stopping by our blog! We love your visits! And we hope you have a marvellously Happy week!

  13. I love those flowers, especially those dark red/burgundy ones. For some reason I always choose that colour when buying flowers for myself.

I hope that cardinal will not get a headache from all that window banging!
