Yum Yum Saturday

Hello doggies and kitties and hermit crabby girls and humans. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your hopeful doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

I know I haven't been keeping up with those yum yum food reports that my esteemed and late colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel used to write. Sometimes my humans are just boring and cook the same things all the time. So today I'll try to catch up.

Dad's new stir fry chicken recipe with Nishiki rice.

Tuna casserole and green beans.

An old stand-by: spaghetti and sausage.

Pizza and wings from Pizza Corner.

Grilled cheese, tomato soup and cranberry relish.

Hey, you forgot the gravy!

Joey dog would have said, "You must never forget the gravy."

And, he would also say, "You must never forget the funnies either!"

I went back through some old files and found some pictures of Joey dog food watching so that they might jog the memories of my humans about what to cook next time.

Greek salad with dolmades, spanakopitas, chicken marinated with Spiedie sauce.

Teriyaki salmon, Nishiki rice, steamed vegies.

That all sounds good to me!

  1. Your Mom and Dad's foodables always look SO yummy! Mom loves tuna casserole, but usually makes it when Dad is traveling as it's easy. I BOL'd at the Mt. Everest cartoon. I'm a lab mix, and whatever I was mixed with wasn't very tall, as I'm a lot shorter than most labs so it's hard to counter surf.

  3. No yummy deserts? No chocolate cake or lovely custard or ice cream? Those are my favourite. Mara says the green beans make her drool, but I go for chocolate cake...
