Birdie

Oh Chester? What are you doing?

Nothing Mom!

Then how come the robins are all going crazy and dive bombing you?

I don't know.

What are you hiding there?

Nothing.

Chester, did you catch this baby birdie?

Oh that? Yes! I caught the birdie for you! I'm a good bird dog! Now we can have a nice dinner!

And come and look here. I found potatoes growing in the compost pile!

Do I know how to scrounge up dinner, or what?

  5. Oops I guess there's one less robin in the world. A bunch of potatoes could be good though.

  8. Hi guys! My pals the Cowspotdogs told me about you. My sisfur Taffy is a Cocker and looks a lot like you! Funny but she's been killing a lot of baby birds too and is on the hunt for a baby bunny living in our yard. I hope you'll give us a visit! Love Dolly

    1. Hi Dolly! Nice to meet you and thank you for visiting The Daily Bone! We'll be sure to check out your doggie blog too.

We would love to see a picture of Taffy. We know just what you mean about cockers. They naturally go out and hunt things. All of our four cockers have caught something (usually birds) some time or other, but Chester's been the most prolific. It's hard to be mad when he proudly shows you what he's caught.
