Joey's Photo Collection

This is The Daily Bone, and I'm your grieving doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

As you probably know, my esteemed and very dear colleague, mentor, and best friend Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel passed away early Saturday morning, peacefully, at home with ghostwriter and Dad holding him and petting him. In his memory, I'd like to present a collection of photos of our Joey dog. They are in no particular order.

Joey's movie star picture.

Hugs with Miss Ginger.

Ready for dinner! I'll have one of each, please.

Creative sleeping.

Actually, I'm quite comfy.

Zoomies in the crunchy leaves.

Nyah!

Me worry about snow? Nope!

Hike at Mendon Ponds Park.

Making funny faces.

Dashing through the snow!

A couple old photos of Joey with Charisma and Miss Ginger.

We have countless pictures of Joey dog food watching. He always got a sample of the food and rarely was there something he didn't like.

I'm going to have a hard time filling in for him. I just don't have his steady concentration.

I'm gonna miss you, buddy.

Ghostwriter and Dad and I would like to say thanks to everyone who sent their condolences to us in the last day, and POTP, Airezen, healing vibes, hopes, prayers, hugs and kisses and purrs, during the week before. A special thank you to Madi, downhomeinnc for putting Joey on the Blogville POTP site blogvillepotp, and Marty Manx and the gang for devoting an entire post to Joey dog. martythemanx  Blogville and the pet blogging community, you are the best!

  14. Chester, GW and Dad...
You are so very welcomed. Molly and Mackie sent us an early morning email about your precious Joey's passing. We do wish we had known Joey better but for sure now that we have found you we will get to know you. I can see from Joey's photo gallery he lived life to the fullest, was a foodie (like Moi) and most of all I can tell how very very much he was loved. When my human sis was a wee girl and had to take a nap, she would ask Mom how long she had to nap. Mom would say about 2 hours. To Sis that was a very long time. So when she told me my peeps she loved them she would say, "she loved them two hours and a bunch". I know you all loved Joey 2 hours and a bunch and he loved to that much too.
Hugs madi your new kitty friend
