Hello everyone. This is The Daily Bone, Princess Edition, and we're your ace doggie reporters Baby and Rosie Spaniel.
We have not been to Blogville in a long time. But here's the update on Dad who had a stroke almost 2 weeks ago:
He's all right. But his left arm and leg won't move. He's been transferred to the nursing home where ghostwriter used to work so he can get a lot of physical therapy. We're hoping he gets enough movement back so he can come home, but it's going to take a long time.
In the meantime we doggies have been getting used to being home alone while out of our crates. In fact, we take this duty very seriously. While GW is away visiting dad for a couple hours, we pups are the Guardians of the House.
GW told us maybe Baby Groot and his fellow Guardians of the Galaxy might stop by and give us a compliment on a job well done!
Thanks for all the POPT, hugs and prayers from everyone! We'll try to catch up up on all of your doggie and kitty blogs
It sounds like you girls are taking your duties seriously, which is a very good thing! We continue to send your dad lots of healing vibes and hugs all around♥
ReplyDeleteOh you are such good pups. Best wishes to your Dad and all your family. Physical therapy should be helpful, but progress can be slow, I'm afraid, and much patience required all round.
ReplyDeleteSending love and hugs,
Gail (and Nobby, who doesn't really understand about these things).
Good girls. Am sure dad is very motivated to get back to you two lovelies. Be good.
ReplyDeleteWe are keeping our paws crossed that your dad gets well enough to come home soon. You two girls are being so good and keeping the home safe while GW is away visiting your dad.
ReplyDeleteSending our bestest POTP to your Dad, Girls. PT and rehab is very hard work!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing a great job being the house guards.
Glad to hear that your Dad is doing better but we'll keep the prayers and POTP going for a bit longer. You two are doing a great job taking care of things at home for your Mom. ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteI am sorry this has happened to all of you. we are praying he gets fully recovered
ReplyDeleteWe still have our paws crossed for your Daddy's recovery and homecoming ... and for your sweet GW who has more on her "plate" right now ... so it's good you two are doing your part! Keep up the good work, it's impawtent. Gentle hugs to all, Ann & JUNE
ReplyDeleteWe continue to send all of you purrayrs and Power of the Paw - and Moose Magic(which isn't only for Elkhounds!)
ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry to hear about your Dad. Your Mom has lots of experience taking care of others, but we just wish it didn't have to be so close this time. We are sending you all our best Sibe vibes and prayers from Mom for things to get better. Keep being good girls.
