Angry Bird

Hello. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your diligent doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel. We're still without a regular full size computer, but we're trying to post from ghostwriter's cell phone.

(I can't say what my ghostwriter's saying right now, but she's really frustrated with the itty-bitty screen on her phone.)

Anyway, we have a very angry birdie red cardinal who's been attacking his own reflection in our dining room window

He usually strikes in the early part of the day when the sun is shining on the window.  And he's really angry!

Yipes! I'm hoping he doesn't smash himself flat!

  1. Whoa!! That bird is going to conk himself out!

I once saw a bird attack the mirror on a car, LOL!

Our windows are large too, on the south side of the house where the feeders are, so they don't see their reflections that easily...so no angry birds...only the ones who squabble of the rights to the seeds!

We have had birds not see the glass and they hit it trying to fly through. Ouch.

  5. OUCH Mr. Cardinal might be channeling GW's feelings about they crazy computer mess and having to use her itty bitty phone. Please tell GW I think she did a very good job of posting via her phone.
    Many hugs Chester

    1. We did think about leaving that window open just to see what he does.

  8. In my experience, cardinals are angry a lot. I hope he doesn't hurt himself while he's trying to hurt the bird in the window.

  9. Hi friend, Ojo here! We had an angry robin doing this! Only he was doing it at 5am when the people were sleeping. For days and days and days. They got very angry back. We hope your cardinal isn't angry at his reflection for too much longer!

  12. OMD! You know our humans won't live without a regular full size computer so thank you for the update. I just hope that this poor birdy will be ok.

Enjoy summer weather Chester and family. :)
