Computer Problems

Sorry we haven't been around much lately.  My ghostwriter's computer was hacked and now she's locked out of it. (Long story. ) We're in the process of getting a new one. In the meantime, we're trying to figure out how to do a proper blog post on her cell phone.

  4. BadBad Hackers! So awful you must go thru all the nonsense of "starting over" ... but four-paws up with the cell phone stuff ... we consider it an accomplishment to send a text on our cell, a post? Never!

  5. Oh Chester darlin' I bet those hackers have no idea the MESS they stepped into when decided to hack a reporter. I hope your new puter comes soon and there isn't too much drama setting it up. New techie is always a challenge.

  11. Oh! Dear! We feel for your Mom! We won't tell you what we think of hackers. Mom was working for a company that made software for warships. When she first started to work from home (because Dad was sick) there was all kinds of things that she had to do to ensure that hackers could not access the work network using her computers. Tihs turned out to be a good thing for the company when the Covid meant everyone had to work from home, all the protocols had been worked out. Even though she is now retired, we still have to be careful about what and where we click (and the browsers and email software we use).
