Snow In The Morning

Hello. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

As you can see, there is snow on the ground.

Yes, it was coming down like crazy when we woke up this morning!

But now it's starting to melt.

To my blogger friends, I hope to catch up on reading your posts from the past few days tomorrow. My ghostwriter had to work almost every day this week at the front lines of the nursing home on evening shift, and it has been insane, crazy, busy!

She didn't want to post another picture of herself in PPE gear, so here's a picture she took looking out the window of the break room from  yesterday afternoon.

She's going to work again today.

  1. We have a VERY blustery day today and it's chilly but we didn't get snow. You look pretty happy about it, Chester!

  2. Brrrrrrrr, they sure looks chilly!!!! We sure hope you get some snuggles and naps with GW this weekend!

  3. Your ghostwriter is a hero! Make sure you take good care of her.
I love da snow. We didn't have any this year and I was so disappointed. I do love to play in da snow.

  4. What a crazy weather day we've had today. We applaud your mom and are keeping our paws crossed for her , all her co-workers and those in their care that they all stay safe and healthy.

  5. That looks very chilly!

Hope your ghostwriter gets a much deserved break soon! She’s amazing!

  6. Chester that is Southern today and gone tomorrow
I hope GW and all her senior residents are staying well.
YIKES there have been several Assisted living/rehabs/care facilities here in NC hit very very hard by this horrid virus. I am so happy to have been able to see GW in her PPE.
    Healthy hugs Cecilia

  7. You tell your GW we're all furry proud of her, and give her lots of luv and licks whenevfur she comes home!

  8. We do not envy your Ghostwriter having to work through all of this. We definitely admire her courage and skill and compassion and are happy there are people like her in the world. You have the right idea napping through it all, C.

    Love and licks,

  9. Snow and your mom going to work are two terrible things to happen on the same day. Snuggle up and hope she gets home soon.

  10. Hi Chester, it's been chilly here in Toronto but we didn't get snow. I hope GW will get a good break soon. Stay warm and healthy!!

  11. That snow this past week was crazy for a lot of people! We once again, didn't get anything. But I wish the cold would go away!

I hope your Ghostwriter is able to have some "down time" to rest and relax, and most of all, I hope she continues to have good health! Take care, all of you!! --And thank your Ghostwriter for being on the frontline, when some, like my coworkers stay home.

  12. A Hero in PPE...that is what your GW is...and our petcretary, too...and of course ever so many others!

We had that snow here on Thursday as well...there was some on the Ground on Good Friday, but you had a lot more. We had hail too...yikes!

Make sure your GW rests well, Chester. She needs to keep herself healthy...

  13. Nursing homes are the real front line these days. Y'all be super careful and we will pray for your health and safety. Thanks for caring for the elderly at this critical time. How can it still be snowing at your home?? BOL!
