Hello everybody. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your diligent doggie reporter
Chester L. W. Spaniel.
Yesterday it was so hot out! I think it went up to 93º! The sky was full of gigantic puffy clouds! This one kind of looks like a very fluffy white doggie with big floppy ears sleeping on a pillow.
It was very windy too, and lots of dead branches fell off the trees.
But the sky was changing constantly. In the evening, some storm clouds moved in.
Ghostwriter went out into the garage with the front door open so she could watch the storm. It rained hard for a few minutes. But afterwards, she saw the most amazing sunset! A band of storm clouds was moving very rapidly from south to north as the sun went down in the west.
Wow!
This morning the temperature is 63º! I guess Autumn has arrived!
Please tell GW I love love the clouds photos. Chester we hope that cool front will come our way.

We had lots of wind, too...and all the potted patio plants were laying on their sides when petcretary got home from her work. What a mess.
ReplyDeleteThose clouds were fabulous to see, but when we see those Mammatus clouds, they are rather ominous and scary...
It is sunny and in the low 60's here now...and the past couple of days were hot and humid. Glad to see the arrival of the nice part of fall...though winter will bring with it all the cold...oh well, we'll never be bored with the weather will we??! BOL!
Those were some really cool looking clouds. It's finally down in the 70's here, so pleasant to be outside.
