A Snowy Day

Hello everybody! This is The Daily Bone and I'm your diligent doggie reporter
Chester L. W. Spaniel.

It's been snowing almost all day! It started real early in the morning, after 2am when ghostwriter finally went to bed.

8am: Debbie Dove was sitting on the window birdie feeder. You can still see the grass sticking up through the snow behind her.

11am: I went and did some great snow zoomies!

1:30pm: the snow plow came around. Look at all the snow falling now!

We live on a three way intersection. The truck always stops, backs up, and turns around a couple times to be sure he clears out the entire intersection.

Wow! That's a noisy truck!

But now the road is good for the school bus to drive on!

2pm: I was out for more zoomies. The snow was still falling steadily.

Do you see that crummy rotten squirrel on the tree trunk?

Now I'm headed back inside for a nice nap! Dad and ghostwriter didn't have anywhere to go today. Those are the best kind of days!

4:30pm: The snow stopped and the sun came out for a few minutes before it clouded up again. After all that, we only ended up with about four inches of snow on the ground.

10:30pm: It's snowing again. We'll see what tomorrow brings!

Good night.

  1. That's a lot of snow! We have about 6 inches on the ground and they are forecasting another 6-10 inches of heavy wet snow for Thursday night. Oh joy. I think Dad will be muttering some HBO words as he shovels.

  2. We ended up with about six on the ground...and there was an unnecessary travel ban here in Ontario County. I was up and about because I had a dentist appointment...but after that and a quick trip to the drugstore...back home we went! We really wish we had a fenced in yard like you do!! How AWESOME is that?? Still trying to convince Mama we need one! Actually, it is more convincing Daddy...enjoy your snow!

  5. I wish that I would have gotten snow instead of freezing rain, Chester. Have fun playing in your yard today!

  6. They keep telling us we are getting more snow and it doesn't happen. We still have a little on the ground but we would give anything even for your four inches") Enjoy your zoomies.

  13. We got a big dump that day too...it keeps the peeps busy cleaning it all up...which means less time to play with us. Sheesh.
