Where's The Snow?

Greetings snow fans! This is The Daily Bone and I'm your disappointed doggie reporter
Chester L. W. Spaniel.

I'm still waiting for that big snow that's been predicted. So far we've only gotten a few inches. Today I went out and found the snow had partly melted and then refroze, so it wasn't soft and fluffy any more. It was crunchy with icy spots that cracked under my feet.

These little dots were made by water dripping off the tree.

Here are some hawthorn berries that look kind of pretty.

That crummy squirrel was stealing birdie seeds on the ground today.

I sent him packing.

Haha! I can see you way up in the tree now that the leaves are gone! How do you like that cold wind?

If you're wondering why everything looks so gray, it's because we have no sunshine. Nothing but dreary clouds and no fresh snow either! I had some funny comics to show everyone if and when the big snow came.

Gee, I was really looking forward to more snow. I wish it would get here already!

Dad says I should be careful what I wish for.

  1. Our Weather Lab Paisley has forecast a lot of snow up north. We hardly ever get snow so our city shuts down over a few flurries. LOL!

    1. We did get some snow on November 22. Check out our post from that date. We had icicles and everything. But it all melted. Don't worry. Sooner or later we'll get hit with a blizzard. It just takes a little shift in wind direction coming off the Great Lakes! I'll keep you posted!

  5. They keep promising us that it is coming but we'll believe it when we see it. We might get some today and now we have to worry about the extreme cold.

  12. We smiled at your snow info - that is so true here - Mom goes into work when it's minus 10 and there's 2 feet of snow and where she grew up near the Ocean in the West, they cancelled school if there was 1 inch.

Just to let you know we've linked you for a top 5 challenge over at our blog and new dog blogger Riley The Schauzer at www.mymuttriley.wordpress.com Riley started it to meet some of us and introduce themselves. It was fun!
