Winds Of Change

Good evening. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

Yesterday, we had a nice warm, sunny day.

This morning started out nice too. The moon was still out.

Awoooooo!

But then a howling wind brought lots of dismal, gray clouds.

It blew the rest of the leaves off the tree!

Now it's dark and cold out, and we might get some snow by morning.

Ghostwriter doesn't want any snow. She's in her annual winter denial mode. She won't admit it's winter until either Christmas, or the arrival of a big blizzard, whichever comes first.

I, on the other hand, dream of snow!

Here's a picture of my esteemed and late associate Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel from about a year ago.

  3. Yes, we dream of snow too. We got some last week but it melted. Today is a nice day but the only one of the week.

  6. Hi hi hi! Ojo here! I dream of snow too!!! If you get some, would you send it to us too? Also, it was very windy here last night too, but today it is warm. Isn't it weird how Nature is different everywhere? Also, is that a squash-with-face in your yard? I thought those all went away ages ago!!

  7. We think all that wind passed through here last week too - it was incredibly windy AND cold. Perfect for a good snow, but alas, all we got was more leaves:(

  8. We were so happy to see the snow yesterday. We both did zoomies as soon as our paws touched the snow.

  10. The only snow I've evfur seen gets brought here in big trucks, down from the mountains fur spawcial winter events. It's hard and cold and wet. Mommy says it isn't like the real thing at all, or it's like the real thing that's been plowed into piles in parking lots. Not much fun, if you ask me. We get rain in the winter. We only like to watch it from inside!
