Super Moon

Good evening. This is a special edition of The Daily Bone. I'm your doggie reporter
Chester L. W. Spaniel.

Tonight and tomorrow night there will be a super moon. That means not only will the moon be full, but it will be at it's closest point to Earth within it's elliptical orbit. Therefore it will appear to be larger than it ever has in 68 years. If you wish to know all the scientific data regarding this phenomenon, please check the following site.

Here's the moon rise from last night:

I hope my dearest Princess Leah is watching.

I chose some nice music for this occasion.

  6. OH MY word what a beautiful super moon. Mom went out about 6:30 pm last night but the clouds were starting to move over the moon. She did get a few interesting photos. This morning we awoke clouds and rain. So we might not get any more photos

Chester please tell Maddie and Tibie I do so love those clear plastic rings off vitamin bottles.
Once I got out of the chair I swatted it all over creation and then when it was screaming UNCLE I toted it around a bit like I had deaded it!! MOL
    Hugs madi your bfff

  7. We saw the moon last night and weren't very impressed with its size. Maybe tonight it will look bigger. It sure did do a great job of lighting everything up in the dark though.
