Killer Snow Freaks

Hello. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your diligent doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

We've had yet another day of no snow!

My esteemed colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel and I did a thorough inspection of our yard. We couldn't find a single snow flake.

Ghostwriter took a picture from the car and there was no snow as far as the eye can see!

It makes us wonder if we will be getting any snow at all this winter.

We just got a report from our North Carolina associate Angus where he is already conducting
Operation Spring Watch.

Hi Chester! As you have been reporting unseasonably warm weather up north, we were wondering if there were any signs of spring around here yet. On my walk at the park today with my human, we came upon these pretty flowers popping up in the woods. Is this a sign of spring? Or are these daffodils a bit daft? I will be sniffing around for more signs and will report what I find. Back to you!

Thanks Angus. And now we have a TDB exclusive special report.

As Blogville doggie bloggers may know, our good friends Frankie and Ernie at frankiefurterprice.blogspot.com are always on the look-out for snowmen, aka snowfreaks. They seem to come out in force at their house around the holidays, then mysteriously disappear. Well we have just discovered where these snowfreaks might be going. Check out this TV commercial:

Obviously, they are busy taking over entire cities! Yipes! Yet some reporters have actually done interviews with these snow freaks and discovered they are a lot like our ordinary humans.

Have we in fact, misjudged them? With the lack of snow this winter, these snowfreaks have to make their living somehow.

I don't know about you, but I would prefer to err on the side of caution.

Next week is supposed to be cold and snowy. I say be afraid. Be very afraid! Killer snowfreaks weather is coming soon!

  9. Dear Chester,

That is a very cute photo of you. (They all are, but the first one is extra-cute!)

Also, we have many flowers. And our person is getting headaches and a stuffy nose from all the little plant bits called pollen in the air. I am very glad that we have flowers, because those snow monsters look very scary!
