Huge Mistake

Hello fellow doggies, and everyone else too! This is The Daily Bone and we're your dedicated doggie reporters Chester L. W. Spaniel and Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.

We have made an important discovery! It seems the best squirrel proof bird feeders aren't the ones that keep the squirrels out, but the ones that keep the squirrel in!!!

Think about it!

  10. Wow!!
    Huge mistake is right!!
There is a squirrel dude at growlmy;s work who has learned that the enclosed courtyard had yums in t...bird seed, crabapple trees, rosehips on the rose bushes, and so on...he jumps in, then he is too fat to climb the same tree to jump back out...trapped...yet another kind of big squirrley mistake.....BOL! Sometimes kind hearted staff get the ladder to let him find his way out..thus enabling him fur more fun later. The residents love watching all this silly action!

    1. How funny! We have bird feeders outside most of the nursing home windows. We don't get many squirrels. Instead we get deer who knock down all the birdseeds and then eat it! There are bunnies in the garden almost all the time too.

    3. Wow, that would be like TV for our residents!!
But deer can't get in, cause the whole courtyard is enclosed (except for the doors to enter), its like a safe outdoor area for residents who might otherwise wander away.
