Earth Day

Greetings everyone! This is The Daily Bone and I'm your doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.

We finally got a nice sunny day after a week of cold and high winds! FINALLY! So we wasted no time to run outside and take pictures to celebrate our favorite holiday: Earth Day. That's when we look down and appreciate all the wonderful things living and growing in the earth.

Earthworms

Hostas

Peonies

Peppermint and snow-on-the-mountain

Grape hyacinth with bumblebee

Pachysandra

Moss

Toad

Dandelion

Mushrooms

Hyacinth

Daffodils

Feathers

I think Mr. Cool Beans Cooper, our friendly neighborhood Cooper's Hawk has been busy. We also found tufts of fur.

Fur

Pear tree buds

We hope you have a great Earth Day!

I am so thrilled (probably not as thrilled as y'all) that Spring has sprung up and the snow is gone.

  7. Your earth slice is very vibrant with life!

We have toads, too, and they are hopeful they will soon have a bazillion bugs to gobble up...petcretary somehow hopes we don't have that many bugs, LOL!

We didn't know that Pachysandra could bloom!
