Greetings friends and fans. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your concerned doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.
My ghostwriter has been working way too much lately! In addition to working every weekend, she's been having to do some 12-hour shifts (3pm to 3am.) When she comes home after that, she is exhausted, sleepy, achy, grumpy, and miserable for two days or more.
What's that? Oh, she says it'll only be for one more week to help cover for two coworkers who are on a well-deserved vacation. So, that's OK, I guess?
It's a good thing Dad is always home. Otherwise I'd be all alone in the house.
She also says to her good Blogville friends: please excuse her for falling behind on commenting on your posts. She still reads and enjoys them.
I especially love reading the posts about my doggie and kitty cat friends getting some yum yum treats, or a new squeaky toy.
In other news, in spite of her work schedule, my ghostwriter remembered to look up and look down to find some awesome things.
A bit of a rainbow.
Yellow jackets eating a fallen pear.
Phineas P. Finch alerted us of two evil squirrels in the yard stealing birdie seeds!
I didn't catch them, but I gave them a good chase!
Sleepy time now. Good night.
Hi Chester! We're sorry to hear your Ghostwriter has been working so much. Maybe she will take a vacation soon so she can spend time with you. You sure found some interesting things to show us but we're glad you chased those squirrels out of the yard.ReplyDelete
No worries at all, Chester. Ghostwriter is a wonderful person to be doing so much to help others. We do hope she remembers to take care of herself too. Please give her some sloppy kisses from us.ReplyDelete

Oh Chester, you tells GW that we all loves her for all the hard work she is doin' for the peeps in need, and we are sendin' her all our treaties and margaritas for a reward ☺ReplyDelete
Good work chasin' those evil tree rats! I almost got a wee one the other day! I would have if I was 5 years younger...sigh.
Have a nice snooze my furiend!!
Love that second to last picture of you smiling at the door, Chester, and your nature pictures are always so beautiful!ReplyDelete
Chester thank GW for this...as always...well organized and wonderful post. Such variety.ReplyDelete
Thank goodness you and Dad are there to welcome her she comes home weary. I know you both make her smile...after she has rested and has the energy to smile.
Alone in the house would be a bad scene, B. Thank goodness you don't have to deal with that! I think your exhausted Ghostwriter did a great job of looking up and looking down. So glad she's able to keep her priorities in order.ReplyDelete
Love and licks,
We hope your lady gets the time off she deserves. We get not always being able to comment. It can be hard if you are short on time.ReplyDelete
Ghost writer is a saint to fill in for her co-workers!ReplyDelete
Petcretary is doing a lot of work, too...so we also are way behind...oh well, we try to catch up now and then,BOL!!
Sorry to hear your ghostwriter has to work so much. Perhaps when the other two have returned, she can take a well-earned break as well???ReplyDelete
Hi friend Chester! Ojo here! Your person is working too much! It is stormy here also - we just heard thunder! Happy napping!ReplyDelete
Hi Chester! Please send big hugs to your GW! 3pm to 3am is so long! I hope she will get VERY well-deserved break!ReplyDelete
Wow! We thought our mom was babysitting the grands a lot but that are some "ruff" hours your GhostWriter is working. Give her an extra snuggle because she certainly deserves it. I love those dainty flowers.ReplyDelete
