Sunday: No Snow Yet!

Hello friends and fans everywhere. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your introspective doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel, along with my somnolent colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.

Ghostwriter was gone almost all day yesterday. She left for work at 10:30am and didn't get home till after midnight. We doggies think she's working way too much! Well after this evening's shift, she has two days off.

We have heard it's supposed to snow today. This morning, that was hard to believe. Look at the clear blue sky! Geese were flying everywhere! It's cold out, but not freezing.

But now the clouds are rolling in.

In other news, there was a big wind blowing last night. In fact, it was roaring! This morning we found that a UFO had crashed in our neighbor's yard.

I did some good barking at it, but it refused to move. I guess the aliens had abandoned it. I'd better keep a sharp eye and nose out for anything strange or unusual around here.

All clear in our yard!

And now I have a sad announcement. One of ghostwriter's little old ladies at the nursing home passed away peacefully last night with her family all around her.  We're going to miss her a lot!

  2. I am sorry to hear about the passing of a friend. Mom was a volunteer at a nursing home all through her teens, mostly she just sat and listened to them tell stories or rubbed lotion on weathered hands. She said it wasn't the most exciting volunteering like other kids did but it gave her an appreciation of such much later in life.

It is always sad when a resident you got to know and love passes away. It leaves a big hole. And usually lots of memories. ((((( Hugs! )))))

The strange and unusual here is lots of limbs and tree branches coming up out of the snow, BOL! Growlmy better get out there with pawppy to clean them up...no wait; it will be a nice chore fur the boss-boy and unfurbro when they get here for our feast:))
