Saturday Squirrel

Hello. I'm Chester L. W. Spaniel, your stealthy doggie reporter and this is The Daily Bone.

Be very very quiet. I'm stalking a squirrel. This particular squirrel, aside from being obese, has white on the back of its ears. I'll be sure to remember this one from now on.

Zoom! Wow! He ran to the other end of the green belt!

You may have noticed, there are no leaves on the nice green grass.

Yesterday Dad fired up the screaming dragon roaring noisy machine mower scary monster thing and sucked up all the leaves. He then piled them along the back of the yard where it tends to get muddy.

Now my esteemed colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel and I have the following announcement:
Ghostwriter is going to be working some 12-hour shifts and overtime in the next few days. So you might not see The Daily Bone much during that time. To all our wonderful Blogville friends, we might not be commenting on your blogs, but you can be sure we're reading them.

Before we go, here are a few photos from around our yard.

See you later!

  1. It's Jabba the Hut Squirrel! That is the fattest squirrel I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing your photos and we'll be thinking of you and your Mom while she works so hard.
