Double Shift Back To Back

Hi. Chester here. Ghostwriter is really tired now. She had to work a double shift yesterday and then go back at 7am today. So I'm writing The Daily Bone, along with my stodgy associate Joey dog.

Ghostwriter saw this great truck today and took a picture for our favorite miniature human, Ryan.

They're building a solar farm across the street from the nursing home where ghostwriter works. This spot used to be a little woods where some deer lived.

This makes us feel a bit conflicted. I mean, they're trading a woods for a solar farm. I thought a woods IS a solar farm. We don't think the deer will like it very much. But we'll wait and see how it turns out. Please stay tuned for further photos and reports.

(I wonder if Ironing Board Man will show up?)

In other news, we heard that our kitty friend Tibie had to go to the vet for a procedure. He's not sure what happened, but he seems to be missing something now. Hopefully he'll be feeling better soon.

Now we'll turn to Joey dog for a few words about yum yums.

I saw a few good comics that feature doggies food watching.

Now this is some excellent food watching technique. I hope all of you doggies take notice.

I'm going to try that telepathic thing. Pay attention ghostwriter: you will give me Chester's yum yum doggie treat while he is still outside ditzing around under the bushes!

Hey, where's my treat?

I haven't the slightest idea where your yum yum treat went. But maybe you'd better pay better attention when ghostwriter calls you to come back inside the house.

But I was busy howling at the moon!

  5. We bet little Ryan loved that big truck. Your poor Mom must be exhausted with all that work, but she is very good to do it. We bet those residents love her.

  6. Wow - that is one huge dirt digging machine! It sounds like your Ghostwriter needs to have a relaxing weekend to us!

    Love ya lots♥

  7. Dear Chester,

To answer your question, we live in the Land of Rain. Sometimes we hop into Truck and drive and drive and drive, and sometimes we end up in the Land of Snow. I wish we lived there all the time...

    Keep howling, little wolf-friend!

  8. What a huge 'farm' that is, OMD:(

all in the name of $$, sheesh. Poor evicted deer.

I hope your ghostwriter gets to have a free day to recover. Growlmy is off to day but she and pawppy had to shovel out from under 8+ inches of heavy wet snow...
