Cold November Day

Hello everyone. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your earnest doggie commentator
Chester L. W. Spaniel.

We had a cold and dreary day, typical for Western NY this time of year. The wind has been blasting in from the south west since yesterday, bringing more and more gray clouds and rain.

Ghostwriter, as you might remember, is still in her state of winter denial. She says all this nasty weather is just a cold front moving through, and it will surely be 80º by Sunday. But she did put a sweater on, and her boots instead of her flip-flops, to go out and pick up the poopers and take photos of me and my esteemed colleague Joseph (Joey dog) Spaniel.

We'll just play along with her hopes for warm weather. It doesn't matter to us because we have our weather-proof cocker spaniel coats on. Any weather is fine with us! By the way, the weather man said it might snow tonight or tomorrow, but it would be 50º by Sunday, not 80º.

Despite the sodden clouds and cold wind and talk of snow, we managed to find some color and beauty right in our own back yard.

See you later!

We are so sad to hear about the terrorist attacks in Paris today. What is wrong with those humans who want to kill others because of their religion? We doggies totally don't understand all of this.

I don't understand peeps either Chester. Why they have to hate people who don't agree with them is beyond me.
Us doggies have it right...sniffin' butts is better than killin' butts....well, unless it's a critter...then all bets are off....☺
That's why doggies should rule the world! just sayin'...
