Good evening ladies and gentlemen, doggies and kitties. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your rugged and heavily coated doggie commentator Chester L. W. Stephens.
It was a cold, cold day! In fact, you could say it was downright gelid!
The birdies were very hungry and came to the feeder en mass. I was very polite
and didn't bark at them.
Here's the mourning dove waiting his turn.
Eat up! It's going to be a long, frigid night!
Our garden Buddha was up to his eyeballs in snow! Literally!
I brought my tennis ball outside only to discover it just disappeared under the fluffy snow,
and I had to root around to find it.
The moon made another spectacular appearance alongside the planet Jupiter.
(Is anyone else watching it?)
My ghostwriter says it's a good night to hibernate! It is now three degrees at 10PM Eastern Standard Time in Western New York and all's well. Good night!
It sure is Brrr! We are -2F...and going down....last night growlmy unwittingly dropped her keys, and didn't know it until this morning, and had to hunt fur them outside in the cold...OMD:(
ReplyDeleteShe did find them! Hooray! Those modern keys cost a furtune to replace...and it was good they didn't have to be out there too long in the snowbank...sheesh, a few days ago it was so mild!
Its clear here, so the moon and its companion planet up there are so beautiful to behold!
Did you see those planets when there were three all close together?
It are sposed to get down to 18 here, brrr.
ReplyDeleteOh Chester I soooo wish I had some of that snow to play in! Its raining heavy here AGAIN this morning although it is very mild. You and your Peeps take care in that snow, keep safe and warm (NO furstealers!)
ReplyDeleteLoves and licky kisses
Princess Leah xxx
(Who keeps staring at the moon and sighing!)
Perhaps the Polar Vortex will come your way and turn all that rain into snow! Our humans agree that we could keep our shaggy winter coats a bit longer because it's so cold out right now even though we look like polar bears!
DeleteWe have minus 2 here right now and it's FREEZIN', Chester! Stay inside and keep warm!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥
