Hello. This is The Daily Bone and I'm your innovative doggie reporter Chester L. W. Spaniel.
Our favorite miniature human, Ryan, forget to bring home his big bouncing balls.
I'm not very interested in these because they don't squeak, and they're almost as big as me! But don't worry. I thought of a way to put them to good use.
I rolled them all under the pear tree. |
Unfortunately, it was a windy day, and the balls kept rolling away. |
OK now you all stay there! |
I went inside and watched from the drive-through barking window. Sure enough, an evil squirrel soon arrived to steal birdie seeds.
Do you see him there stuffing his face? |
Zoom! |
Bwahahahahaha! The squirrel planned to jump up into the pear tree, but found out he would have to get around those big balls. He had to make a detour to get to the maple tree. I almost got him that time!
Oh, and I hope everyone is keeping cool in this hot weather.
Oh, that was a GREAT plan!!!! We have a whole bunch of those same balls in our garage. The grands all love to play kick soccer with them. We have a few of the same colors as you. Last count Mom thinks there might be six of them left. We may just have to try that trick with our squirrels and rabbits!!! Thanks for the idea.

BOL!! I try to put the bitey on balls like that, and if I get at them sideways I can put a hole in them...but that always ends the fun...sigh...
ReplyDeleteI bet Whitley would have fun with those in her pool!
At least by now our weather is much less humid and more pleasant...
