Toy Problems

Hello. This is The Daily Bone and I’m your indefatigable doggie host Chester L. W. Spaniel.

It has come to my attention that I have neglected my squeaky toy procedure and maintenance column for quite a while. I have noticed, however, that a lot of doggies are showing off their new squeaky toys on their doggie blogs. I’m pleased to see they’re using proper technique in un-stuffing and de-squeaking their treasures. Keep up the good work doggies!

Now, I have quite an extensive collection of squeaky toys in my storage facility that I still play with, despite the fact that they’re mostly pretty old and beat up by now. My humans seem to think that sometimes I need a challenge. So today they stuffed one of my tennis balls into an old squeaky toy.

I set to work immediately. Please note some of the following photographs might be a bit blurry. This is because I was in constant motion to solve this egregious problem. How long do you think it took me to get the tennis ball out of the squeaky toy?

Hah! Success in less than ten minutes!

I was then presented with a new problem. The old squeaky toy through the doggie collar trick!

Fortunately, I’ve had much experience in solving this type of conundrum!

It just needs a little tug and …

I am a champion problem solver!!
