Hello. This is a TDB quick bite. I'm your lovable, cute, adorable, winsome, charming, lovable, and amiable doggie host Chester L. W. Spaniel. And I'm cute too!
Yes, I know it was pouring rain outside this morning. And I remember the rule that we just go out to do our business when it's rainy like that. But …
But there was a BUNNY! And I chased it around and around the yard and through all the bushes. It ran real fast! And did I say it went under all the bushes? But I finally convinced it to leave the yard. Yes, I did it all by myself.
Yes, I know Joey dog never does things like that when it's raining really hard. He goes out and just sticks to business and comes right back inside. He even cleans off his own feet!
But there was a BUNNY!!!
Can I still have a doggie treat?
well dat pesky wabbit had to chased off your property - the cheek of it invading your yard :)
ReplyDeleteDARN those Waskelly Wabbits... they are ALWAYS getting us in trouble... generally giving us a ROUGH TIME... They are Equally As EVIL as their CUSSINS... the Tree Rats...
ReplyDeleteWe think you deserve EXTRA treats for Braving the WET... to pawtect your grounds...
Pawsome bunny chasing dude even if it was raining. Have a terrific Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Hey there C.L.M. - Shiloh here. Ya'know - I am God's gift tue the wabbit hunter BUTT I due not like the rain. HOWEVER, there r just sum thingz that MUST b dun an'I think your pawrent NEEDZ tue unnerstand that. It wood not b a good thing fer any of us woofiez tue allow one of thoze wascally wabbitz tue inhabit OUR domain fer any length of time - rain or not. I bravely laugh off the rain in order that the Beaglebratz Manor maintain it'z wabbit-free environment. An'I b-leeve that any woofie who duz the same with their estate, NEEDZ tue b GREATLY rewarded (praize iz ok I guess BUTT treatz werk MUCH better.

Hi Shiloh! Our Miss Ginger hated the rain, and didn't even want to go out if the grass was wet. She was the greatest rabbit chaser, though! She could run really fast! Joey dog usually doesn't like to get his feet wet either, but will make an exception for squirrels and yum yums.
DeleteI am glad you ignored the downpour to do your job of anti-bunny patrol. I hope you got to put leftover raindrops on the floor and walls and peeps...you know...shake-shake-shakety-shake!
ReplyDeleteWoofs!
Yup!
DeleteLooks like your mum has her work cut out for her with you Chester, lol.
ReplyDeleteHi William! Welcome to TDB! And yes, I'm a very "paws-on" kind of doggie. Rain and mud and snow and dirt and puddles don't bother me a bit, much to Mom's dismay sometimes!
DeleteDon't they know that yu are nefur Off duty?
ReplyDeleteYu need payment in treats!
I got wet on my walkies today and Dad told me I smelt like a bit of old carpet (the cheek !)
ReplyDeleteDid they say the same to you ?
Loves and licky kisses

Gee. I happen to like that wet doggie smell. It's my favorite rainy day cologne!
DeleteBunnies gotta be chased. It are a law or somefin.
ReplyDeleteCrikey Chester ..... you gotta chase those bunnies, aye?? Nothing must get in the way. Certainly not a little bit of rain.
ReplyDeleteWe think you should get the entire package of treats for ridding your yard of the bunny, Chester!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥

I hope you got LOTS of treats after that! Your Mom should be proud that you gave yourself a baff in the meantime while saving your yard from the evil bunny :)
